This is my first activity for this year summer learning journey.
I am a student at Leeston Consolidated School. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. Please note....some work won't be edited - just my first drafts, so there may be some surface errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas.

1. Something positive - Begin with a greeting. Talk about something you like about what I have shared.
2. Thoughtful - A comment that will mean something to me to let me know you read/watched or listened to what I had to say. - use any language.
3. Something helpful - Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question.

Kia ora Liv,
ReplyDeleteWell done on starting the Summer Learning Journey, which food here is your favourite? Mine would be the dark chocolate especially if I am craving a sweet treat.
I like the use of your colours, only using 3 colours with different shades means it is easier for your audience to read the post.
Keep up the great work Liv,
Nga mihi,
Dad
Kia ora Olivia, this is Kieryn from the Summer Learning Journey.
ReplyDeleteWell done for creating this awesome list of food items you would bring with you on a sea voyage with no refrigerator or freezer!
Canned fruits, nuts, biltong and salami, and muesli bars are all excellent choices as they are non-perishable foods, and will therefore last a long time.
Vegetables and firm fruits would also be great to bring on the voyage as they are high in vitamins and minerals, which would help you avoid catching scurvy while away at sea!
Out of all of the food items on your list, what one is your favourite and why?
If I were going on this sea voyage, I would pack peanut butter. I eat peanut butter every morning, and don’t think I could go a day without it! Plus, peanut butter is full of good, healthy fats, has tons of protein, and lasts a while before expiring.
Keep up the great work!
Nga mihi
