But if you do St John like me we do badges like first aid. This is paid from the charity.
I am a student at Leeston Consolidated School. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. Please note....some work won't be edited - just my first drafts, so there may be some surface errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas.

SLJ Week 1 Activity 3: Scaling New Heights
St John as some very kind and caring people are at St John. They also help you if you have been hurt like in a accident or had a heart attack or some think like that.
But if you do St John like me we do badges like first aid. This is paid from the charity.

Kia ora Olivia, this is Kieryn from the Summer Learning Journey.
ReplyDeleteYou have made a great post here about the St John organisation!
When ever someone is injured or sick, you can always count on the St John team to arrive promptly and save the day!
Have you or anyone else you know ever been sick or injured and had to call for help?
When I was younger, my sister fainted and I had to call an ambulance. It was scary at the time, but I know I did the right thing calling for help.
It is great how you have included an image of some of the badges you can earn.
Are these badges yours?
You mentioned that you do St John. What does this mean exactly? Is there a club in which you are a part of? It would be awesome if you could reply to this comment and let me know!
Nga mihi
Kia ora Kieryn,
ReplyDeleteThat would have been scary calling the ambulance. I'm lucky I haven't had to call the ambulance.
yes those are my badges. I am part of St John's cadets, it is sort of like Girl Guides where you earn badges but you also learn First Aid skills which you can then take part in competitions. You can also train to be a St John's officer when you get older. I decided to join St Johns as I want to be a nurse when I get older.
Nga mihi
